5s · MP4About gender reveal video on Cicadas
This gender reveal video maker draws the reveal itself: a black balloon pops into a pink or blue cloud, a white cake is cut to show a pink or blue sponge, or two confetti cannons fill an evening garden with one colour. You pick the scene and the colour; nothing is uploaded, and no face or whole person appears: the balloon and the cannons show nobody, and the cake scene shows one hand with a knife. Cicadas makes it with MiniMax H3 Max: vertical, 5, 10 or 15 seconds, with the pop and the cheering on the sound track. No names or words are drawn into the picture, so add your own text in your phone's editor. A 5-second clip is 63 credits.

The balloon pops: pink.
MiniMax H3 Max, 5 seconds with sound, vertical, from text alone; back in 43 seconds. A black balloon floats above a small table in a garden hung with white bunting; about halfway through it bursts into a cloud of pink powder and pink confetti that drifts down over the table. Nobody is in the frame and nothing is written anywhere. The sound is one loud pop, then a crowd cheering and clapping.
Use this recipe ↗The first slice: pink inside.
MiniMax H3 Max, 5 seconds with sound, vertical, from text alone; back in 18 seconds. A hand cuts a white-frosted cake on a stand and lifts out a tall slice: three layers of pink sponge, held up to the camera. Only the hand is in the frame, and nothing is written anywhere. The sound is a gasp, then cheering, clapping and excited shouts.
Use this recipe ↗Two cannons, one colour: pink.
MiniMax H3 Max, 5 seconds with sound, vertical, from text alone; back in 51 seconds. An evening garden set with tables under string lights; two launchers fire at once, and pink confetti and long pink streamers rise and fall through the lights. Nobody is in the frame. The sound is a loud bang, then cheering and applause; one of the two listeners also heard some music at the end.
Use this recipe ↗The same balloon: blue.
MiniMax H3 Max, 5 seconds with sound, vertical, from text alone; back in 34 seconds. The balloon prompt with the one word changed: a black balloon above a wooden garden table bursts into a blue cloud and blue flecks. Nobody is in the frame and nothing is written anywhere. The sound is a sharp pop, then cheering and clapping.
Use this recipe ↗The same cake: blue inside.
MiniMax H3 Max, 5 seconds with sound, vertical, from text alone; back in 36 seconds. The cake prompt with the one word changed: a hand cuts the white cake and lifts out a slice with two layers of bright blue sponge. Only the hand is in the frame. The sound is a soft thump and a gasp, then cheering and applause.
Use this recipe ↗The same cannons: blue.
MiniMax H3 Max, 5 seconds with sound, vertical, from text alone; back in 20 seconds. The cannon prompt with the one word changed: blue confetti and blue streamers rise over the tables and fall through the string lights. Nobody is in the frame. The sound is two sharp pops, then cheering, clapping and whistles.

Six scenes: three reveals, each in pink and in blue
Balloon pop, cake slice and confetti cannons, each recorded in both colours. The colour is one word in the prompt, and in our six clips the model followed it every time: pink where the prompt says pink, blue where it says blue.
The pop and the cheering are in the clip
MiniMax H3 Max makes the sound with the picture. In all six clips two automated listeners heard the pop or a gasp and then a crowd cheering and clapping. No face is in the frame: the cheering comes from off camera, and the only person you see is a hand cutting the cake.

“A sunny back garden with white bunting strung between two trees, vertical. A large black balloon with nothing written on it floats on a ribbon above a small table. A long pin comes in from the side and pops it: a burst of pink confetti and pink powder bursts out and drifts down slowly over the table. The camera stays still, one continuous shot, no cuts. Sound: one sharp pop, then cheering and clapping from off camera, no music. No people in frame, no text, no letters, no numbers.”
“A close-up of a white-frosted cake on a stand on a kitchen table in soft daylight, vertical. A hand cuts a slice with a knife and lifts it out on a cake server: the sponge inside is bright pink. The slice is held toward the camera for a moment. The camera stays still, one continuous shot, no cuts. Sound: a soft gasp, then happy cheering from off camera, no music. No faces, no text, no letters, no numbers.”
“An evening garden party under warm string lights, vertical. Two confetti cannons, one at each side of the frame, fire at the same moment and fill the air with pink confetti and pink streamers that drift down through the lights. The camera stays still, one continuous shot, no cuts. Sound: two loud pops, then cheering and clapping from off camera, no music. No people in frame, no text, no letters, no numbers.”

Gender reveal video FAQ
Tested on Cicadas · reviewed 2026-10-12
Recorded on 2026-10-12 with MiniMax H3 Max text-to-video through fal.ai, each request sent once with the exact scene prompt of this page: 5 seconds, 9:16, 480P with sound, six clips. Balloon pop: pink (back in 43 seconds) and blue (34 seconds); a black balloon above a garden table bursts into a cloud of powder and confetti in the colour named. Cake: pink (18 seconds) and blue (36 seconds); a hand cuts a white cake and lifts out a slice with a sponge in that colour. Confetti cannons: pink (51 seconds) and blue (20 seconds); two launchers fill an evening garden with confetti and streamers. The colour followed the prompt in all six; nobody is in the frame except one hand at the cake, and we saw no lettering. Sound (two automated listeners): a pop or a gasp, then a crowd cheering and clapping, in all six; one listener also reported some music at the end of the pink cannon clip. Not tested: 10 and 15 seconds, 768P, other colours, other places, and prompts that ask for names or text.
