Loop a video in your browser

Your video never leaves your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Real result (2026-10-02, Chrome): 4 seconds of an AI kinetic-sand clip, played 3 times with a 0.5-second blend → 10.5 seconds, 270 × 480, 1.4 MB, with its sound, made in about 7 seconds.

About video looping on Cicadas

Choose a video, pick how many times it should play (2, 3, 5 or 10) and download one MP4 that repeats it. You can loop the whole clip or only a part, blend the end into the start so the repeat is less visible, and keep or drop the sound. Everything happens in your browser: the file is never uploaded, there is no watermark and no account is needed. In our test on 2026-10-02 in Chrome, a 5-second clip played three times became a 15-second MP4 with its sound in about 4 seconds.

Why use Cicadas for video looping

Repeat 2, 3, 5 or 10 times

The part you choose is encoded once and written into the MP4 as many times as you pick, so every pass is identical and ten repeats take no longer to make than two. In our test, ten passes of a 2-second part were ready in about 1 second.

Blend the seam

Switch from a plain cut to a 0.25, 0.5 or 1 second blend and the end of each pass fades into its start, in picture and in sound, so the jump is softer. Each pass gets shorter by the blend: a 4-second part with a 0.5-second blend plays for 3.5 seconds per pass.

Sound stays in step

The sound of the part is looped with the picture and written as AAC. In our test the sound of every pass lined up with the original to the sample. Choose No sound for a silent MP4.

  • “Blend the seam of a product spin so the turn repeats without a hard cut.”

Video looping FAQ

Tested on Cicadas · reviewed 2026-10-02

Tested on 2026-10-02 in Chrome with two of our own AI clips. A 5-second 848 × 480 clip played 3 times became a 15-second MP4 (4.6 MB) in about 4 seconds; 4 seconds of a vertical clip played 5 times at 720p with a 0.5-second blend became 17.5 seconds (4.0 MB) in about 7 seconds; a 2-second part played 10 times with a 0.25-second blend, on a phone-sized screen, was ready in about 1 second. ffprobe read every result as H.264 plus AAC (48 kHz stereo) of equal length. Every pass had the same frames as the first, and the sound of each pass lined up with the source at zero offset. With the 0.5-second blend, the frame-to-frame change at the seam measured 30.5 dB PSNR, against 10.3 dB for a plain cut of the same clip (higher means more alike; neighbouring frames elsewhere measure about 63 dB). Sound is written with the browser's AAC encoder (Chrome, Edge); where that is missing the MP4 is silent and the page says so. The MP4 writer is our own code.
