Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Cicadas provides tools for working with video, requesting individual AI-generated clips, and assembling your own materials into editable projects where those features are available. Saving a project, generating an AI shot and exporting an MP4 are separate actions. Available settings, limits and any quoted charge are shown in the relevant workspace. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature, with reasonable notice where possible.

AI output can change product details or introduce errors. You must review imagery, captions and claims before publishing. A recorded example does not guarantee the same result for your input or any advertising, sales or search-ranking outcome.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Payment and Billing

The selected plan or credit pack and checkout describe its currency, amount, billing interval and credit entitlement. Review those terms and the task quote before confirming a purchase or generation request. A saved project is not evidence that an export or an AI request has been paid for.

A credit restoration recorded for a failed generation changes your Cicadas credit balance; it is not a refund to your payment method. Check Credits, Payments and Billing for the corresponding account records and available subscription controls. A failure message alone does not establish that a cash refund has occurred.

Your Materials and Results

Upload materials only when you have the necessary rights and permissions, including permission to use a depicted person’s likeness where required. You are responsible for the accuracy of product information and claims you provide. Submitting your content does not transfer ownership of that content to Cicadas. We process it to provide the features you request.

Any use of a generated result must respect the rights in your inputs and applicable model-provider conditions. Do not assume that generating an image or clip establishes exclusive rights or makes third-party branding available for your use. For fal-hosted generation, consult fal’s terms and the selected model’s conditions.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. Signing out, clearing a device draft or canceling a subscription does not close your account. The current account settings do not offer self-service account deletion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
