Birthday Invitation Video Maker

Make a birthday video invitation from one photo: an animated party scene, then add the name, date and place as exact text in your browser. 63 credits.

This birthday invitation video maker animates one photo of the host or the pet into a short party scene, then puts the name, date and place on top as exact text in your browser, because the AI model cannot spell them reliably. 5 seconds at 480P is 63 credits, about $0.62 on the $9.90 first pack; adding the text uses no credits.

About birthday video invitation on Cicadas

A birthday video invitation is a short clip you send instead of a paper card: a party scene that moves, with who, when and where written over it. This page makes it in two steps. First MiniMax H3 Max animates your photo into one of three party scenes: a balloon wall, a cake table, or your pet in a paper party hat, each asking for empty space for the text. Then you type the name, the invitation line, the date and the place, and your browser writes them onto a new MP4, letter for letter.

On the day itself, the AI birthday video maker makes the candles and the toast. For a wedding, use the wedding invitation video maker or the save the date video; other family dates have the gender reveal video and the anniversary video maker.

A party invitation in front of the balloon wall.

MiniMax H3 Max reference to video, 5 seconds at 480P with sound, vertical, from the site's sample photo of a woman. She stands in front of a wall of pastel balloons and paper bunting, smiles, waves and then raises one arm to point up. Her hair and mustard sweater match the photo. The prompt asked for an empty upper third; the balloons fill it instead, so the invitation text sits over the balloons and the wall. No readable lettering. The sound was not listened to.

The dog in a party hat invites you.

MiniMax H3 Max reference to video, 5 seconds at 480P with sound, vertical, from the site's sample photo of a dog. The dog sits on a rug in a striped paper party hat in front of balloons, bunting and a sofa, looks at the camera and tilts its head while confetti falls. The wiry tan coat, dark ears, white chest and blue collar match the photo. The upper third holds bunting and balloons rather than empty space. The sound was not listened to.

Why use Cicadas for birthday video invitation

A party scene from your photo

Upload one photo of the host or the birthday pet. The photo is a reference, so the model places the subject in front of balloons, at a cake table or on a party rug, and each scene asks it to keep the face, hair and clothes, or the pet's face and coat.

The date and place in exact text

Video models misdraw letters and digits, so the scenes ask for no text at all. After the clip is made, choose Add invitation text: you type the name, the invitation line, the date and time and the place, and the browser draws them onto a new MP4. Nothing is sent to the model, and it costs no credits.

Room left for the words

Each scene asks the model to keep the upper or lower third of the frame empty so the text has somewhere to sit. In our two recorded clips it did not: balloons and bunting filled the top. The overlay draws its lines with a dark outline so they stay readable over a busy background; still, check the result and keep the lines short.

Price before you generate

At 480P, 5 seconds is 63 credits, about $0.62 on the $9.90 first pack of 1,000 credits; 10 seconds is 125 and 15 seconds is 188, and 768P makes them 100, 200 and 300. The quote sits on the button, and a failed job returns its credits.

How to use birthday video invitation

  1. 01

Sign in and pick a scene: Balloon wall or Cake table (an adult host) or Party hat (a pet).

  2. 02

Add one clear photo, type the name, invitation line, date and place, and check the quote.

  3. 03

Generate, then choose Add invitation text to write the details onto a new MP4 and download it.

What to put on a birthday video invitation

Keep it to four short lines: whose birthday it is, the invitation line (You're invited, Join us), the date and time, and the place. The text fields have limits (24 characters for the name, 48 for the invitation line and the place, 40 for the date) so the words stay readable on a phone.

Sending it

The clip is a vertical MP4 you can send in a chat or post as a story. Check every letter and the date before you send it; the text is yours, so it is exactly as you typed it. Text export runs in a modern browser and works on clips up to 15 seconds.

Other invitations and the day itself

For a wedding use the wedding invitation video maker or the save the date video; on the day, the AI birthday video maker makes the candles and the toast.

Birthday video invitation prompt ideas

These are the tested scenes on this page. Each scene is fixed and its prompt is read-only: pick one above, or press “Use this prompt”.

  • “A bright living room decorated with a wall of pastel balloons and paper streamers, vertical, one continuous shot. The adult from Image 1 stands in front of the balloons, smiles, waves at the camera and then points up to the empty space above them as a few balloons drift. Leave generous empty space in the upper third of the frame. Keep the face, hair and clothes as in the photo. The camera stays still. Sound: light party room tone and a balloon squeak, no music, no speech. No text, no letters, no numbers, no logos.”

  • “A party table with a birthday cake, unlit candles, small gifts and confetti, vertical, one continuous shot. The adult from Image 1 stands beside the table, smiles at the camera and makes a friendly come-over gesture with one hand while a little confetti falls. Leave generous empty space in the lower third of the frame. Keep the face, hair and clothes as in the photo. The camera drifts in slowly. Sound: soft room tone and a light confetti rustle, no music, no speech. No text, no letters, no numbers on the cake, no logos.”

  • “A cosy room with colourful balloons and paper bunting, vertical, one continuous shot. The pet from Image 1 sits on a soft rug wearing a small striped paper party hat, looks straight at the camera and tilts its head as a few pieces of confetti drift down. Leave generous empty space in the upper third of the frame. Keep the pet's face, fur colour and markings exactly as in the photo. The camera stays still. Sound: soft room tone and one happy little sound from the pet, no music, no speech. No people, no text, no letters, no numbers, no logos.”

Birthday video invitation FAQ

Tested on Cicadas · reviewed 2026-11-02

Local implementation, 2026-11-02. Three locked MiniMax H3 Max reference-to-video party scenes (two with an adult host, one with a pet), each asking for empty space for text; the name, invitation line, date and place are drawn by the browser text overlay shared with the wedding invitation page, not by the model. Two samples recorded on 2026-11-02 (same folder and cap, USD 0.25 each), 5 seconds at 480P: Balloon wall (sample woman) and Party hat (sample dog). Likeness matches the photos and there is no readable lettering, but in both the balloons and bunting fill the upper third that the prompt asked to keep empty. Not run: the Cake table scene, 10 and 15 seconds, 768P. The audio was measured, not listened to.
