How to Make a Toc Toc Dance AI Video From Your Photo

Two honest ways to make the Toc Toc dance AI video: film a short reference of the moves and let motion control put your photo into it, or prompt an original hop-and-knock move. Steps, cost, limits.

How to Make a Toc Toc Dance AI Video From Your Photo

Short answer: film 5–10 seconds of the moves yourself, upload that clip plus one full-body photo on the Toc Toc dance AI page, choose follow the video, and download the silent MP4. Add the music in your editing app. If you cannot film a reference, the AI dance video generator makes an original hop-and-knock move from a text prompt, which will not match the trend step for step.

We make Cicadas. Other tools that promise the routine from one photo keep their own copy of the choreography; we do not, so this guide is about the reference route.

1. Film the reference

  • One person, phone on a stand, straight on, whole body in frame, plain background.
  • Do the routine once: hop on one foot, two knocks in the air with a closed fist, lift the knee, turn. 5–10 seconds is enough; longer clips with cuts only shorten the result.
  • Moderate speed. Kling keeps continuous, visible motion and drops the rest, so very fast moves come out shorter.

2. Pick the photo

  • One person, full body, clear against the background, JPG or PNG up to 10 MB. A waist-up photo works but hides the hops.
  • Vertical photo, vertical clip.

3. Generate

  1. Sign in on the Toc Toc dance AI page and upload the reference video (MP4 or WebM, 3–30 s, up to 80 MB) and the photo.
  2. Choose follow the video for references up to 30 seconds, tick that you may use both inputs, and read the maximum credit quote.
  3. Generate and download the MP4 from the result panel; it is silent, so add the sound afterwards.

The clip above is a real run from this page on October 25, 2026: a public sample photo of a man on a street and our own H3-generated reference routine. The arms and the two knocks come through; the hops do not show because the photo stops at the waist.

Without a reference clip

Open the AI dance video generator, add one photo and a prompt such as "hops on one foot, knocks twice in the air with a closed fist, lifts the knee and turns". MiniMax H3 Max makes an original 5-second move in that spirit for 63 credits (about $0.62 on the $9.90 first pack). It is a new dance, not the Toc Toc routine.

Use your own photo or one the person agreed to, and a reference clip you filmed or may use. No celebrity footage or songs are stored on Cicadas.
